The Zionist Rabbinic Coalition, a coalition of several hundred rabbis from all movements throughout North America will hold its Second Annual Conference in Washington, D.C. August 14 – 16, 2023.
The theme will be “Advocating for Israel: More Challenging and More Important than Ever” and will feature interactive sessions where rabbis will hear from experts and discuss and process what is going on in Israel and in their communities. Sessions will also focus on themes related to the upcoming High Holidays and will culminate with a luncheon at the Embassy of Israel with Ambassador Michael Herzog, whose first appearance before an American Jewish organization was at the ZRC’s first conference.
The conference is being held a little more than a month after a delegation of the leaders of the ZRC went to the UAE, Bahrain and Israel as guests of the governments where they held a series of high-level meetings with leaders of all three countries, including Prime Minister Netanyahu, other ministers and leaders of the opposition.
