Since October 7, we all wake up every morning, asking “how can we help?… What can we do to fight the rising tides of anti-Semitism, and anti-Zionism?” It’s essential that we not just be reactive, that we get off the defensive, that we celebrate Judaism and Israel, singing a song of what I call Identity Zionism – while also putting matters into proper perspective, historical and otherwise. That is why I wrote this most recent e-book, The Essential Guide to the U.S. Israel Partnership: the 250th Anniversary Edition.” It’s a follow-up to the first two Essential Guides: “The Essential Guide to Zionism, anti-Zionism, anti-Semitism, and Jew-Hatred.” And “The Essential Guide to October 7 and Its Aftermath: Facts, Figures, History.” Both are short, punchy, “how-to” guides, that go more practical than my “why to”: “To Resist the Academic Intifada: Letters to My Students on Defending the Zionist Dream.” The latter is a book-book, available on Amazon, and for bulk orders with discounts from Rhonda at Post Hill Press: orders@posthillpress.com
The three “Essential Guides,” however, are more experimental. They are standard e-books, available for downloading on the JPPI website. But we also conceive of them as joint publishing ventures with the Jewish world. I did the writing. We at JPPI did the editing, the design, the publishing, and the translating of the first two into French and Hebrew. And because we still believe in the power of the written word and printed page, we encourage schools, synagogues, organizations, and federations, to print and distribute broadly. We estimate that as many as 100,000 copies have already been printed by various organizations.
The three guides and their covers are attached and ready for printing. The print specs we propose are below. There is also room to add your organization’s logo on the cover and even add an introduction … The only requirement is that the text not be changed without permission – although we are also hapy to tailor the text to particular countire and changing needs. I am also happy to craft a discussion-guide for any particuar organization’s needs if requeted…
Finally, here is my 5 minute video “Why I am a Zionist” produced with UnPacked
We thank you for your interest and I look forward to discussing this with you…
Warmly,
Gil
